It feels ages since i last did an outfit post and i definitely felt a tad bit awkward in front of the camera. As the saying goes, 'if you don't use it you lose it'. I was very brave the other day rocking a short summer dress, with the British weather you never know what you'll get. It was beautiful day and i was beginning to get excited that the warm weather was here to stay; i even went as far as pulling my 'very' summer items out of hiding and hanging them up in my wardrobe, boy was that a mistake! The heavens opened and it's been raining ever since. I suppose it's the price you pay for living in the North East.
I have to say that this tassel / fringe bag is the best purchase i have ever made. I seriously love this bag; i mean if there was a fire in my home *touch wood* i would be running back in for this baby. It was originally £280 (maybe) from All Saints and i was working there at the time and i just couldn't justify spending that on a bag, a few months later i spotted the same bag in good old TK Max for £40, what? I personally think it makes any outfit!
Not normally a one for orange, this Romwe dress is a perfect amount of bohemian and 70's chic, very beautiful for summer. I could just imagine it with some Free People knee high sandals, lots of rings and long pendant necklaces. I added a bit of glitz to my fedora for the day with these feather brooches. I picked them up from my local haberdashery. They are making their way onto my embellished waist coat as should pads, eventually. For those who follow me on instagram will see that i'm into DIY's lately. Heres a preview of my waist coat I'm in the middle of customising.
