Feather coat - Asos / / Embellished collar blouse - c/o Rose Gal / / Dog tooth skirt - c/o Chicwish / / Net jacket - Topshop / / Bag - Zara / / Boots - c/o Mart of China / / Hat - Oasap
I've always been a fan of the dog tooth print, to me it's instant chic and you really can't go wrong when it comes to styling the pattern. I tend to keep it with sold colours or go for a monochrome look. This Chicwish skirt is such a cute shape. I'm not a one for 'tube' skirts, i always feel a little self-conscious; too tight, too short, too revealing. I suppose i go for a skirt that has a little something to it. I really do love the unusual shape, it reminds me of the origami Zara shorts. Funny enough the extra fabric shapes on the front and sides didn't make me feel huge, but it was quite tight on because of the fabric being a tapestry weave. I've styled it with a pretty vintage style black blouse with a jewelled patterned collar from Rose Gal. I like the shape of this blouse, the extra pleat in the front is perfect for a slightly bigger busted girl (ie me!) and there is just enough 'oversized' in it to not look too big. I've layered my look with a net like oriental style jacket and a pastel coloured feather jacket. This outfit was wasted in Newcastle, especially on a Sunday, i would have love to wear this to LFW, never mind; at least i've shared it with you guys.
